Where We Are

This is Preggio, a small medieval village nestled in the hills of ‘Umbria and Tuscany. To find directions to get there on Preggio, you can use the service of Google Maps (click on Directions and enter “Home” and “Arrival: Preggio”) .

If you’re already able to reach Preggio yourself, find our Farmhouse, The houses of the Prior, it is easy just follow the instructions below :

• Arriving in Preggio, find the Square (Square of the Moon) on your right, turn left downhill, passing the Bar ( L’ Osteria del Tempo Perso ).
• Still going down the hill, you pass the Parish Church ( Holy Trinity of Preggio ), go through the small hairpin (Way of the walls) then turn right (Via Olmetti), immediately after ( approximately 10 meters ) turn left. Our FarmHouse is located at the end of the road.

Coming from the North, the A1 Milano – Roma :

• Take the ‘Auotstrada A1 Florence – Rome and exit at Valdichiana Bettolle ;
• Follow signs for Perugia ;
• Exit at East Passignano ;
• Follow the signs for Castel Rigone ;
• Arrived at Castel Rigone, you will find a junction, turn right towards Magione, and head towards Preggio – Umbertide, straight onto Preggio – Umbertide ;
• Follow the main road you will reach a junction that divides one from Perugia and rights to Preggio – Umbertide, continue straight ahead on your left shortly after a Bar ( Bar della Pineta ) and a pool to your right, continue straight ahead and after few kilometers you will reach ‘another junction where the road splits in two, right and the other goes to Umbertide, Preggio left to take the left road that goes towards Preggio ;
• Continue straight and after a while you will come to another fork, one to Mercatale – Lisciano, a straight to Preggio, continue straight, and you will arrive in Square Bel Vedere ;
• Once in the Piazza, turn left and you pass the Bar (L ‘Osteria del Tempo Perso) ;
• Continuing down the pass davalla Parish Church ( Holy Trinity ), always walk down a small hairpin ( Via dei Muraglioni ), then turn right ( Via degli Olmetti ) and after about 10 meters left, Our FarmHouse is located at the end of the road .

Coming from North, from E45 – Rome :

• Take the E45 ;
• Take the Bologna – Ancona exit at Cesena and then take the E45 towards Rome ;
• Take the exit to Castle Town South, exit and follow direction Promano Umbertide ;
• After 7 km you will find a fork, you drive straight Umbertide, and right to Mercatale – Tuoro ( Lisciano Niccone ), turn right Mercatale – Tuoro (Lisciano Niccone);
• After about ten miles, you will find another fork, if you continue straight you will go to Mercatale – Tuoro ( Lisciano Niccone ), if you turn left to go Preggio, turn left, following signs for Preggio, it will reach after 7 km ;
• Once in the Piazza, turn left and you pass the Bar ( L ‘Osteria del Tempo Perso ) ;
• Continuing down the pass davalla Parish church ( Holy Trinity ), always walk down a small hairpin (Via del Muraglione ), then turn right ( Via degli Olmetti ) and after about 10 meters left, Our FarmHouse is located at the end of the road .

Coming from the South, from A1 Roma – Milano :

• Take the ‘Motorway A1 Roma – Firenze, exit at Orte ;
• Follow the signs for Perugia ;
• Arrived near Perugia, follow the signs for Firenze A1 ;
• Exit at Torricella ;
• Follow the signs for Castel Rigone ;
• Arrived at Castel Rigone, you will find a junction, turn right towards Magione, and head towards Preggio – Umbertide, go straight to Preggio Umbertide, past Castel Rigone, you should find another fork, turn right if you go to Perugia, straight to Preggio – Umbertide , continue straight and you will also shortly after the ” Bar della Pineta ” which is on your left and your right to a pool ;
• After a few kilometers after passing the “Bar della Pineta”, will come to a fork that splits in two, right goes to Umbertide, and left to Preggio, take the left, shortly after arriving at another junction that divides turn right towards Mercatale – Tuoro ( Lisciano Niccone ), straight onto Preggio, walk down the hill you come to Piazza food! .
• Once in the Piazza, turn left and you pass the Bar ( L ‘Osteria del Tempo Perso ) ;
• Continuing down the pass davalla Parish church ( Holy Trinity ), always walk down a small hairpin ( Via del Muraglione ), then turn right ( Via degli Olmetti ) and after about 10 meters left, Our FarmHouse is located at the end of the road .
