” History Preggio Music Festival “
The Preggio Music Festival was conceived by the pastor of the small medieval village of Preggio, Bastianoni Don Francis, who organized concerts of sacred music and chamber, with Italian and foreign artists are not well known, who repeated the work of W. A. Mozat, J. S. Bach, Fryderyk Chopin, and many others. Since the first edition this event that is always proposed during the summer was extremely successful and came to the XVIII edition.
Since 2005 in addition to concerts of sacred music and chamber, held at the Church of St. Francis St. S. Trinity Preggio, towards first of August ( 8 – 10 – 12 – 14 August ), are also staged operas such as Cosi Fan Tutte, Le Nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni, all works by W. A. Mozart, expertly performed by opera singers from all over Italy, and the importance and value of staging these lyrics marzatine is the turnout of the public who comes to see them every year in the beautiful garden that offers glimpse of the Parish Church, and Fortunately, in recent years, the meteorological time we attended and did not feel not so cold !!
In recent remarks to the TG3 dir. Zeboni Henry, said of the work and the Music Feswtival :

Thanks to the commitment and cooperation of a small community of foreigners (most of England) Residents in our area .. followed by an excellent cast of singers, has achieved a good balance narrative, theatrical and especially music, with piano and harpsichord Rosalind Hall Bastianoni Don Francisco.
So does this production, admired and applauded by all the public seats available in more complete, albeit with little funding, but still supported by a group of wonderful volunteers. Year after year acquired authority, esteem, and above all quality music “
